Dear Martin, Thinking back over the years, there are so many memories both personal and professional - of Peak District weekends, long walks, red wine, education conferences, parties, deep discussions, your terrifying motorway driving, and in more recent times chats over the garden wall. So sad that the last years of your life have been marred by a disease which robbed you of your independence and impaired your ability to communicate. Rest in peace.
